Researchers are currently conducting a series of clinical studies, called the ORAL trials, for patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) at more than 350 locations across 35 countries worldwide. The ORAL trials are part of a large Phase 3 clinical trial program designed to test the effectiveness and safety of the investigational drug tasocitinib (CP-690,550), which is an oral pill for patients with RA.
The ORAL trials are currently made up of two different clinical trials.
Eligible patients will receive study-related medical care, including visits with a rheumatologist, at no cost.
